RSR Justice are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Nottinghamshire for a MARAC Administrator to provide a comprehensive administrative service to MARAC regarding the highest risk survivors of domestic violence and support the SurvivorAdvocacy Support Service.

This is a full time, permanent position and offers a salary of £22,571 pro rata.


Full driving license and access to own vehicle is essential for this role.

Main Duties:


  • Administer MARAC meetings within required timescales including: Organising dates and venues and meeting invites, preparing agendas and running orders, ensuring agencies are updating relevant research ahead of meetings and circulation of paperwork aheadof the MARAC.
  • Initiate, develop and maintain effective systems (electronic and manual) to file correspondence, minutes, agendas and other papers.
  • Maintain computerised and manual, information recording systems and procedures required by the service.
  • Operation of word processing equipment and packages to produce accurate, high quality reports, general correspondence, databases and presentation documents.
  • Provide typing, word processing, database, spreadsheets and other computerised services as required.
  • Taking responsibility for recording and collating statistical information for monitoring purposes and other reports.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively both internally and with external agencies.
  • Carry out a wide range of office duties including answering the telephone, photocopying, and circulation of information.
  • Take responsibility for ensure that the MARAC representative induction pack is kept up to date and distributed as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the City and North Nottinghamshire MARAC Administrators; to provide cover and support for other administrative staff as required.
  • Uphold the rights of women, children and young people who have experienced domestic violence, advocating vigorously for them while offering protective strategies, and appropriate safe services.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with this post, requested by the line manager.

Essential Requirements:


  • Experience of working in a fast paced administrative/clerical role.
  • Experience of working within a busy environment.
  • Able to record and précis information and produce accurate minutes of meetings and letters, maintain manual and computerised systems and confidently use information technology.
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations and disturbing information.
  • Experience of working with women affected by domestic abuse (desirable).
  • Basic understanding of the differing forms and impacts of domestic violence across communities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding for adults and children.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
