Role Brick Finisher - Hand-made

Pay £12.00 per hour + bonuses

Hours 8-5pm Monday-Thursday, 8-2.30pm Friday - Part time/flexible hours also considered

Location Bodelwyddan, North Wales

As a brick finisher you will be skilled in the art of finishing the physical brick, which BrickPlus* has made a market leader.

All our bricks are manufactured using a natural curing process without the use of fossil fuels in an incredibly low carbon footprint manufacturing facility.

No machinery is used as part of the manufacture process. This is a skilled role in which you will be fully trained.

We are looking for an artistic and creative individual to join our team.

Brick finishing Responsibilities:

Use an array of powders, waters, and sands to hand finish bricks
Shaping/moulding bricks to the desired finish of our handmade bricks.
Working coordinated with the brick manufacturers to ensure steady population of finished moulds as per set targets
Keeping pace with the brick manufacturers and adjusting speed/technique based on the specification of the brick
Accurate recording of manufacturer product for reporting purposes

Person Specification and experience:

An adaptable person with a keen desire for attention to detail is important in this role as brick finishes change frequently.
Be able to replicate designs as per required finish
Ensure consistency with finished product.
Knowledge of handheld tools including edging tools, trowels would be an advantage, however full training will be provided
