Salary:
£23,000 - £28,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.

There's so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye and right now, we're looking for a Credit Risk Controller to join our Finance team in Edinburgh.

About the role
Credit Control is more than simply collecting payments.

Building strong relationships with our customers and colleagues to keep pubs open and trading is essential to the success of Star Pubs & Bars.

Our team Credit Risk Controllers are each aligned to a regional area of the UK and build strong ongoing relationships with our leased pub operators.

Credit Controllers collect payment for drinks orders and rent and agree and monitor repayment plans for debt.

Working closely with our field-based Business Development Managers and Regional Operations Directors, you will ensure that the right commercial decisions are taken to keep our pubs trading while minimising credit risk, always ensuring compliance with Credit Policy and Pubs Code.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who can hold confident and robust conversations with our customers. Making decisions that benefit both us and the outlets and working at pace will be key.

If you;

Are comfortable working with numbers
Can build relationships with internal and external stakeholders through great communication skills
Have an eye for detail and can maintain accurate records

This is a busy, interesting and varied role which is right at the heart of our business.

As part of an experienced team, you will have lots of support and ongoing training, plus regular feedback in monthly 1-to-1s with your manager.

Your ideas for process improvement are always welcome and there are opportunities for career development which is supported and encouraged.

Our office sites operate a hybrid model.

You'll spend Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the office and can work from home on Mondays and Fridays, although but you're more than welcome to come and work from the office on those days too.
