Description

A principal contractor is recruiting a Sub Agent for a highways improvement project in Farnborough.

The business deliver schemes as PC with a professional main contractor approach in their site set up, quality of work, team structure and the clients theywork for such as National Highways, HS2, the Environment Agency and local authorities.

The Sub Agent will have the opportunity to join a £5m project starting next month.

The project is for a local authority and consists of upgrading the local roads, bus lanes, pedestrian walkways, drainage systems and associated street furniture.

The role will suit an experienced Section/Senior Engineer looking to take a step into management.

Sub Agent include:

Support the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
Writing risk assessments and method statements
Manage quality assurance documentation
Assist in production and integration of 3week programmes
Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
Managing RFI's and Technical Queries

In return the business offer £42k - £47k salary, company car/allowance, medical care, pension, holiday and other benefits.
