Salary:
£23,568.64 per annum / £11.30 per hour


Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm


Job Status:

The Role


Within this role, you will be working as a part of Yard Operations Team, leading the daily operations of the yard team.


The yard and halls activities will be predominantly undertaken outdoors, this means that you will spend a significant proportion of their time exposed to all weather conditions throughout the year.


Responsibilities

Lead a team of Yard Operatives across a busy site

Store and park all vehicles on site within the fleet yard, via agreed valet/wash services, so that vehicles enter and leave the site in accordance with the daily program

Barcode all new vehicles on arrival and tag keys

Log and remove any valuable items left in vehicle

  • Be responsible for jump starting vehicles when needed (training provided)
  • Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager.
  • Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met within the agreed deadlines.

Skills and expertise

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving Licence you need to be comfortable to drive manual and automatic cars (essential)
  • You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
  • You will need the ability to work independently and as a part of the team
  • Excellent attention to detail
