SEN Teaching Assistant - Greenwich Based Primary School.

Day Rate:
£80-95

Are you interested in supporting Special Education Needs children within a primary school setting?

Look no further than our SEN Teaching Assistant role. The role will be working within a Primary Schools in their Autism Resource Provision, supporting children with Autism.


To thrive as an SEN Teaching Assistant, it's essential that you have:

  • A positive, caring, energetic, can-do attitude
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with SEN
  • Have a genuine enthusiasm for Early Years
  • The ability to monitor and record a child's progress
  • An understanding of safeguarding children
  • A genuine interest in aiding children's development

Duties include (but aren't limited to):

  • 1:1 support with a child or small group
  • Supporting the class as a whole
  • Assisting the class teacher
  • Fostering relationships with parents
  • Caring and looking after children during break times and lunch times
  • Supervising children during activities
  • Managing challenging behaviour
  • Motivating children and being an excellent role model

Degree holders or applicants holding an NVQ/ Level 3 qualification in Childcare are welcome but previous classroom experience is required.

Salary:
£400.00-£475.00 per week


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
