LOCUM CONSULTANT IN PAEDIATRIC SURGERY

ROYAL HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN
Applications are invited for the above post commencing on February 2023 for 12 months in the first instance.

This post is a full time appointment attracting 10Pas with a special interest in Upper GI surgery and related mínimally invasive surgery.

Applicants are required to hold FRSC (Paeds) of the Intercollegiate Board in Paediatric Surgery or equivalent qualifications and be on, or eligible for inclusion in, the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council as a Paediatric Surgeon.

Applicants who either possess a CCT are eligible to apply.

Post holders will be expected to participate fully in the departmental educational programme and support trainees. They are expected to have, or be aiming for, recognition of training in line with GMC requirements for revalidation.

To practice medicine in the UK you need to hold both GMC registration and a license to practice.
