We are looking for an experienced, committed and enthusiastic full time Teaching Assistant at Eaton Primary School, commencing 3 January 2024 or sooner.

Experience of working with pupils with a Special Educational Need across the primary range is required.

This position will be to support within the classroom and to work with individuals or groups of pupils who may/may not have additional needs.

Essential

GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and maths
Have previous experience of working with EYFS/ KS1 children in a school setting
Have excellent communication skills
Show the ability to work under the direction of the teacher, but are also able to use their own initiative to support learning
Be flexible in their role to support the changing needs of a school
Be an individual who is
committed to and passionate about high quality teaching.
Demonstrate the ability to establish a positive relationship with children, parents and staff
Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the the primary curriculum
Be able to remain
calm and adaptable to the needs of different children.
Ensure school is a
safe environment for children, staff and others.

Desirable

Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 teaching assistant qualification
First aid training
