Description

Our mission:

Definitely not a sweet shop.

We're the tech company making insurance more accessible and more affordable for as many people as possible.

We're proud of our journey so far. We've helped hundreds of thousands of customers get fairer cover, all while polishing a 4.6 star Trustpilot score. But we're just getting started.

Over the next 2 years, we're planning to help even more people by launching products and services across different sectors and countries

If you're looking for a challenge, our next chapter is set to be an exciting one

How we work:

We've created a culture of trust which allows us to work autonomously without fear of failure, to challenge decisions, and be heard.

It empowers us to drive our own careers and to move at unparalleled speed. And because we're treading new ground, we're all mastering new skills along the way.

The Validation Team:

The Validation team is a crucial part of Marshmallow's Fraud department.

We act as the gatekeepers, ensuring our policyholders have told us the truth. By ensuring the details of our customer's policies are correct, you'll be protecting the honest customers from inflated premiums.

We do this by requesting and reviewing documents and speaking with customers to ensure everything is correct both when the policy is first sold and then throughout the policy lifecycle, including at the point of claim.

You'll need a keen eye for spotting discrepancies as you'll be on the lookout for fraudulent documents

We're looking for someone with experience working in a customer-facing role in motor insurance, who is looking for a new challenge to develop their fraud-finding skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • This is a brilliant role to get deeper into the exciting world of Fraud and Underwriting as you progress, there will be opportunities to develop your skills and take on more responsibilities, such as responsibility for keeping our knowledge base up to date, training new starters, reviewing new areas of risk and generally learning more about fraud and/or underwriting

Who you are:

  • You enjoy providing excellent customer service and interacting with our customers
  • You're naturally inquisitive and are constantly looking out for links to investigate further
  • You're not afraid to take ownership and speak up in groups to share your ideas
  • You are confident in making quick decisions and like solving problems
  • You have a high tolerance for change and dealing with ambiguity
  • You are organised, with excellent attention to detail
