Hargate Healthcare have an opportunity for an experienced Residential Support Worker to work for a growing company that will fund your NVQ qualifications.

Residential Support Worker Benefits:

Salary is up to £28,000 per annum
Shift pattern is a 2 week rolling rota of 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the following week
Permanent and fulltime roles

Residential Support Worker Requirements:

Level 2 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (preferred)
Previous experience of working with children or adults who have Learning disabilities in a Residential setting
Valid driving license (preferred).
Ability to set appropriate examples for children and young people, and to be a good role model
To motivate, assist and guide children and young people in their selfdevelopment
Evidence of trying new ideas and being able to make changes when something is not working
Ability to manage children and young people who display challenging behaviour
Able to provide personal care if required
