West Cheshire is a place where everyone can Thrive - through our core values of Teamwork, Honesty, Respect, Innovation, Value for Money and Empowerment.

This is a new and exciting service that is being funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as part of the Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care (IPSPC) service.

We are looking to recruit a Contracts and Finance Officer to support delivery.

The role will involve delivering administrative and financial support to Area Coordinators to enable the efficient set up and delivery of the service.

This will involve extensive use of Microsoft Office to create documentation and procedures to maintain accurate records to support service delivery.

Support with tracking and monitoring spend will also be included, so attention to detail is very important. The successful applicant will work closely with Area Coordinators to analyse data and provide projects insights. Good communication skills are essential.

We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive and hardworking individuals who are keen to learn and want to make a difference to residents' employment needs as part of an effective team.

This is a fixed term position initially, as part of a wider employment support provision funded through DWP. There may be future funding/other provision available in the future.

Cheshire West and Chester Council are committed to equality and diversity in employment. Please see the Equality Policy for more information.

Cheshire West and Chester Council have adopted a Local Living Wage for our employees which means that all employees will receive a minimum of £10.90 per hour for all contracted hours.
