Are you an experienced Buyer with an engineering or manufacturing background, looking for a fixed term contract? A great opportunity has arisen for a Buyer to join an exciting and expanding business based in the Malton area on a 6-month fixed term basis.

As the Buyer you will be responsible for:

Obtaining supplies and services and expediting materials
Implementing contract strategies and managing contract development
Administering procurement processes and enrolling suppliers
Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and onsite personnel
Generating purchase reports and training new employees on the procurement system
Being a key part of supporting the project procurement team

This Buyer role is commutable from York, Malton, Thirsk, Scarborough and surrounding areas.
