We are currently working with one of the industry's leading economic research firm who seek to add a senior LATAM economist to the macro research team.

This role will take a lead role in shaping the firms LATAM macro forecasts and how it is presented tostakeholders.

You will oversee the management of the existing LATAM economics team as well as guide the agenda for topical LATAM research.

You will be responsible for the macroeconomic forecast of a range of Latin American economics and ensuring that these forecasts and research are of a market-leading quality.


In this role, you will be:

  • Leading the firms LATAM macro forecast and views
  • Overseeing an economics team
  • Responsible fore the LATAM forecast and production of indepth analysis
  • Presenting the views to clients and acting as a spokesperson for the firm
  • Responding to client queries

In this role, you will need:

  • At least 7 years' of experience in economic research (non-academic)
  • Strong academic background in economics from a reputable University
  • Proficeny in English and Spanish
  • Excellent analytic, communication and quantitative skills
