Description
We are looking for a Global Programmes PA/ Administrator to provide comprehensive and proactive support to the Director of Global Programmes including high level and effective PA and administrative support (diary management, correspondence, printing and distribution of documents, room bookings, catering, minuting meetings etc.) on a day-to-day basis, and to provide a range of administrative support to the Heads of Academy and Grants & Programmes.

The Global Programmes Unit advances Battersea's ambitious plans to play a global role in achieving a positive impact on thousands of dogs and cats.
This Unit comprises two teams:
Academy, which supports the professional development of staff and volunteers in rescues and rehoming organisations and Grants & Programmes, which provides strategic funding and support to organisations and researchers within the animal welfare sector, to advance change, through empowering local partners, so that more cats and dogs have a better future.
Distinct in their functions, the teams work closely together on developing and delivering programmes with partners in the UK and focus countries around the world.

During the Coronavirus restrictions, our animal-facing staff continued to work on site and our office based staff worked from home.
We are currently operating a hybrid working model with our office-based staff splitting their time between site based and home working.
We believe this will support office-based staff to maintain the benefits of home working, while allowing for collaboration and interaction with our animal-facing staff and maintaining a connection to our cause.
As such, you'll be expected to work in our Battersea office for at least 50% of your working week.So, if you are passionate about dogs, cats and about our work, then we'd like to hear from you.
