CY Partners have an exciting opportunity for a
Sample Preparation Assistant to join an environmentally focused research agency based in York.


Working as a
Sample Preparation Assistant you will be responsible for the preparing, storing and delivery of samples to tight deadlines.


Other responsibilities include:

  • Logging in samples using the online system
  • Use machinery and instruments to prepare samples.
  • General duties: Record keeping, stocking consumables, emptying waste, cleaning.
  • A Scientific background or interest in working within the science industry.
  • A 'can do' attitude
  • A methodical, organised approach and excellent attention to detail.
  • Team working skills.
