Description

The post holder will be based at UKHSA RCE Environmental Epidemiology Team (EET) and will be managed by the Environmental Epidemiology Team lead.

The post holder is responsible for the provision of knowledge, evidence and intelligence support for UKHSAs programme of work in environmental epidemiology, and supports the Head of Environmental Epidemiology to ensure work is aligned with UKHSAs aims and priorities.

The main responsibility of the post-holder will be to provide leadership in the national epidemiology service in England and to contribute in particular to development and strengthening of national capacity in environmental epidemiology as part of a public health service.

The post holder will provide technical leadership and management of the analytical work on environmental epidemiology across the Environmental Epidemiology Team, the environmental public health service across UKHSA and, where required, across the wider public health system
