Does the sound of working at a well-established and reputable private sports and leisure club based in central Birmingham entice you?

If so, we have a fantastic position available to join a dynamic team as a Catering Assistant.


In this role you will be working directly with members of the public, therefore it is essential that you can deliver the highest level of customer care at all times as you will be acting as a representative of the club.

You will go above and beyond to meetcustomer requests and exceed their expectations, aiming to always deliver outstanding service.

Communication is key as you will also be responsible for relaying across information between both front and back of house teams, as well as communicating with customers.


Having previous experience in a fast-paced customer centred role would be beneficial as this is a role which requires you to be flexible, meeting the demands of the individual service requirements, such as working a lunch rush to catering a formal event.

You will be expected to acquire a good knowledge of all products, in order to be able to advise individual customers on the best product for their specific requirements, as well as taking the opportunity to maximise sales opportunities through upselling productswhich fit customer requirements.

Working as part of a larger team, you will be willing to help out, as and where needed, supporting team members with their duties to ensure that service and events run smoothly.


In return, you will receive a competitive hourly salary of £9.90 per hour, be offered the opportunity to work up to 40 hours a week and also receive 28 days of annual leave.
