Commercial Lead - Irvine, United Kingdom - KAEFER Limited
Description
The key duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:- Produce robust, timely and accurate commercial reports in line with the company's requirements, including but not limited to cost value reports, end life forecasting and earned value management
- Work closely with the Project/ Ops/ Site Manager and Planning function to maximise the potential for each project, attend site meetings when necessary to discuss the commercial position. Update any associated commercial reports and ensure any knockon effects to the business unit are reporting back through the correct channels
- Undertake aspects of subcontract management, including initial procurement and order placement, through to monitoring, measuring, valuing and agreeing the final account. Ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed and the appropriate document and contract administration is observed at all times
- To act as the first point of contact for the site operations team in relation to any commercial/ financial risk, opportunity, query, clarification, information and support
- Be responsible for the preparation and submission of time sheets, as well as maintaining holiday trackers.
The Person
Essential:
- Proven record of working in administration for a medium to large organisation
- Contract experience, preparing valuations for clients and subcontractors
- Good MS Office (Excel/Work/Powerpoint etc) skills
