Barnes Roffe Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join one of their clients based in Enfield.

The role:

To assist the HR Manager in providing HR advice to the directors and senior management team
Assist the HR Manager in all HR matters
Assisting in providing a full HR service to all staff and keeping the company legislatively compliant.
To provide a full HR service to all staff including deputizing for the HR Manager in her absence.

Key responsibilities:

To provide full generalist support

To be responsible for the monthly and fortnightly payrolls

To develop, review and update HR policies, procedures and contracts/Employee Handbook in accordance with changes in legislation and best practice

To be familiar with and update as appropriate, rules relating to GDPR

To maintain personnel and training records

Act as an advisor to management on staffing and employee relations, including absence

Take the lead on recruitment and selection; negotiating with agencies, finding alternative solutions to recruitment as appropriate and preparing Job Descriptions and referencing

Maintain and ensure accuracy of the clocking-in system, relating to hours worked, holidays and absences

Organise onboarding, inductions and off-boarding

To take on Ad hoc projects as appropriate

Level 3 CIPD minimum. Level 5 CIPD preferred, experienced HR Generalist

Good experience of HR databases

Organised and able to work in a multicultural organisation.

Excellent administrative and organisation skills

Be resilient, flexible and proactive

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
