Age UK is recruiting for an
Executive Assistant to the Fundraising & Engagement Director to join our award-winning Fundraising team

This key role will provide support and project specific support to the wider FLT e.g. administration, project management, research and staff engagement.


We're looking for a person that is a highly resourceful team-player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.


As
Executive Assistant, you will have the natural ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organisational skills, and the ability to maintain a realisticbalance among multiple priorities.


This is a high-profile opportunity within our £60m+ successful Fundraising Directorate at Age UK and would suit an enthusiastic EA or someone seeking a career in fundraising.

Please note that due to the Hybrid nature of this role, the successful applicant will be required to commute to the central London co-working hub as required.

You will have:


  • Experience in a PA or project management role, working alongside a main board director
  • Proven experience of managing a busy office with pressing demands and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high sense of discretion
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Experience of providing a triage support to a senior company member
  • Experience providing briefing and preparation for high level meetings and engagements
  • The ability to work on use of own initiative without close supervision
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • A high level of selfconfidence and the ability to take appropriate action
  • The ability to learn quickly to achieve a good understanding of Age UK's vision, mission, objectives and its operations
  • The ability to write correspondence for a wide variety of purposes including taking minutes at meetings
  • Proficient skills in all Microsoft Office packages to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel
