Group HR Assistant





REPORTS TO:
Group HR Director





LOCATION:
Westhill, Aberdeenshire


Purpose of the Role:


The Group HR Assistant role plays an integral part of the HR Department, assisting with maintaining an efficient and accurate HR administration function and delivering value added services to management and employees and within Texo Group.

Predominantly by carrying out confidential administration duties.


Area(s) of Responsibility:


  • To provide administration support to the HR Department to ensure the smooth and seamless transition between Employees, Line Managers, payroll, external benefit providers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administration Duties

  • Create, administer, and distribute offers, contracts of employment and onboarding paperwork to employees
  • Create, administer, and distribute addendums and confirmation letters to employees
  • Manage paperwork for new starts, leavers, transfers and liaising with Payroll and benefit providers
  • Maintain SAGEHR
  • Maintain Employee Matrix.
  • Coordinate HR and employee changes for monthly payroll
  • Administer employee benefits paperwork
  • Collate and manage Job Descriptions bank
  • General administration and adhoc duties

Employee Engagement Duties

  • Conduct New Employee Starter Inductions
  • Conduct Exit Interviews and collating, analysing and reporting data
  • Engage with line managers and employees in relation to Job descriptions for competency project

HR Development

  • Working towards a HR Advisor role within our 8 Divisions where you will gain experience in
  • Providing HR guidance to supervisors and line managers
  • Providing day to day performance management guidance, including coaching
  • Working closely with the Divisions building relationships
  • HR policy guidance and reviewing policies
  • Support of attaining of CIPD qualification

Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources/currently working on attaining Level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and attention to detail skills

Salary:
£18,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Human resources: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
