Description

The client, is a leading specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of Forecourt Structures including Canopies, Carwash Enclosures, Jetwash Screens and Retail Buildings throughout the U.K.

Due to growth, they have a new opportunity for a Steelwork detailer

The role is to generate from structural designs steelwork GA drawings and all fabrication detail.
drawings for component manufacture required for each contract including cold rolled rails.
Together with production of all necessary support schedules including steel material and
fixing lists.

Duties in the role include, generate all necessary CAD drawings including all individual part drawings for the hot and cold rolled steel component manufacture of each contract.

Generate all supporting material schedules.
Manage all drawing information and revisions within each individual contract record folder.

Liaise with steelwork fabricators as necessary to support any fabrication manufacture queries that might arise from the detail drawings during the manufacturing process.

Liaise with site foreman/ steel erectors on any site changes / errors and initiate drawing corrective action as appropriate.
Undertake other contract support duties as directed to help in the managing of each contract.

The role is office based, pm on offer includes a Pension, scheme, sickness pay, and 33 days bank holiday including bank holidays.

Office based in Watton with office Car Parking.
08:30 to 16:30 Mon to Fri with 1⁄2 Lunch.
Pension Scheme.

33 days holiday pa incl bank hols.

Salary:
