£25,000 - £27,500 - test pieces - successful completion. / Laboratory - qualify to weld aircraft parts.

The role
As an Aircraft Welder, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Providing support on jobs that require fabrication or welding on base.


Day to day,

  • Stringently adhering to Health & Safety practices and processes.
  • Manage tool control in accordance with MAM-P Chapter and to maintain good husbandry within their area.
  • Submit six monthly test pieces in accordance with DAP 119G to prove their ability to weld Aircraft and critical GSE parts.
- working with others and dealing with customers which may require design elements and technical advice and follow the companies' guiding principles.


Essential experience of the Aircraft Welder

  • Experience in welding and preferably aircraft welding.
  • Background in military / aviation
  • This role is full time and is based on site at RAF Valley
