Description
A1Personnel are currently recruiting for Parts Analysts on behalf of our client based in Basildon.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Material Planner specialist within the manufacturing department
  • Liaise and manage the supply base, ensuring good lines of communication are developed and maintained to provide continuous supply
  • Prepare analytical reports
  • Engage appropriate transport methods to meet delivery deadlines
  • Handle daily component shortages for MBU activities ensuring prompt delivery of scheduled material requirements
  • Escalate issues through suppliers and inhouse management where necessary
  • Propose and implement solutions in order to guarantee deliveries on time, without extra transportation cost and reducing inventory
  • Working within a fastpaced manufacturing environment

Requirements:


  • Previous experience within a similar role / planning position
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of ordering methods/ Planning and Sequencing
  • Good team player
  • Knowledge of logistics feeding methods
  • Flexible to work overtime / weekends when required

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday
  • 6:45am 3:45pm
  • Friday
  • 6:45 am 11:45pm
  • Overtime available
