Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for our Bank team in the Brighton & Hove area. The pupil communities are diverse & span KS1 through KS5.

You will support schools in providing an opportunity for these young people to re-engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities.

This is an opportunity for those that have busy lifestyles or already work or study part-time, etc. & are looking for the odd day/s or to fill in the spare days around commitments (e.g. childcare, part-time jobs).

£72 per day minimum (£11.07 per hour)

Requirements:

Passion for supporting young people
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one (we can help you to obtain one before your start date)
Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
Confident working with children & young people
Experience working with children & young people (desired)

Responsibilities:

Support class teacher
Support the pupils
Understand individual needs & adapt approach
Encourage & inspire young people
Take instruction / use initiative to further the development & maintain safety of young people
