Holbeach Hurn and
Fosdyke Lincolnshire, we consist of a 6,500 acre farming operation, joint ventures in fresh produce and four factories, employing over 600 people that package fresh, wholehead and prepared vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.
The role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a
Supply Chain Planner to join our Team in
Fosdyke, working
Monday to
Friday 07:00 -
15:00 with flexibility
.
Daily Stock Planning
- Daily input of forecasts to ensure accurate planning of factory resource
- Update orders and maintain reported stocks.
- Review of inbound load planning & management of discrepancies
- Forward review and planning of future stocks to ensure availability for production plans
- Liaise with farming partners to plan inbound product and manage any fluctuations in raw material availability. Including chairing regular availability meetings to discuss all crops and be a focus point for stakeholders' aspects to be voiced.
- Maintain Purchase Order process for procurement of product and manage data for review of discrepancies and costs
Daily Production Planning
- Create the daily production plan to maximise efficiency of product flow
- Work with Shift Managers and Section Leaders to identify opportunities for improvement (for both efficiency and cost)
- Take a pragmatic approach to adapting the plan based on inbound/outbound flows and raw material availability.
Support & Admin
- Support Despatch Team with manual ordering procedures
- Provide regular updates to support communication internally and externally
- Service Level inbund
- Service Level utbound by customer
- Orders vs Frecast by customer
About you
- Have previous experience in similar role, ideally within a fastpaced production manufacturing environment
- A cando attitude is a must
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to work under pressure
