Description

We are seeking a talented Bioinformatician to join the Spatial Profiling and Annotation Centre of Excellence (SPACE), led by Prof.

Gregory Hannon and Dr. Dario Bressan, at the CRUK Cambridge Institute, University of Cambridge.

This role involves analysing and integrating single-cell and spatial transcriptomic and proteomic data across various cancer types, with the goal to understand how a tumour's spatial organization influences its progression, dissemination, and response to therapy.

The Hannon group is renowned for its contributions to RNA biology and cancer research, consistently developing innovative tools to tackle cutting-edge questions.

The group has established a robust pipeline for 3D spatial characterization of tumours and tissues, amassing unique imaging data paired with spatially and temporally resolved single-cell transcriptomics and proteomics.

You will play a key role in analysing and interpreting this data, generating hypotheses to be tested using animal models and ex-vivo systems.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 years in the first instance.

The University has a responsibility to ensure that all employees are eligible to live and work in the UK.
