Production Team Leader
Job purpose:
To work as part of a production team to contribute to the effective and efficient site performance through the operation of production plant and equipment to manufacture Nickel Zinc cells and battery modules.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating production machinery including loading materials
- Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures
- Completing routine maintenance activities on factory machinery including setup and basic machine fault rectification
- Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties
- Effectively monitor production equipment
- Carrying out general duties as assigned by management Carrying out all aspects of line changeover with minimum downtime
- Follow established safety rules and regulations
- Training colleagues on machinery

Your knowledge, skills, and experience:
- GCSEs or equivalent
- Experience within a multiskilled manufacturing environment is desirable
- Ability to learn quickly, and to work on own initiative
- Problem solving ability
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, observing rules and processes affecting their work
- Teamfocused and selfdirected
- Comfortable working with others, open in their dealings with colleagues
- Contributes to team cohesion and calls on others for help when needed
