Business Development Manager - Ireland - Rockfall Protection Geotechnical Solutions

The Company

The Role

The Business Development Manager represents the company for all projects in Ireland.
Identifying opportunities to win new business for projects where rockfall protection, avalanche prevention and slope stabilisation are necessary.
Building strong relationships within your customer base, gaining trust and respect through identifying and presenting the correct solutions.
Conducting site and office based meetings with consultants, contractors, asset owners and local authorities.
Discussing and agreeing geotechnical requirements, preparing quotes and geotechnical calculations and developing and writing technical solution proposals to present to customers.
Delivering strategic objectives to win projects and grow business.
Presenting at events and conferences including CPD events.
Undertake on going development of geotechnical knowledge.
Regular meetings with global colleagues to collaborate and share knowledge, forecasting projects and other business activities via CRM system and meetings.
To be considered for the role of Business Development Manager
Ireland, you will need a strong technical background within geotechnical engineering or geology.
Your communication and presentation skills will be excellent and you will have the ability to communicate strongly at all levels, from Board level to site.
Commercially astute with experience in a consultative sales role within the construction industry and strong geotechnical knowledge.
Handson and practical, with experience on construction sites.
Willing to travel across ROI, NI, GB and Europe.
Highly professional with an ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
