Due to an upcoming maternity absence, in March 2024, our well known, County Antrim based Client wishes to recruit an experienced HR Executive/HR Generalist for a 16 month fixed term contract.

This is a varied HR opportunity offering excellent training and a start date in January/February 2024.


The successful HR Executive will report to the HR Manager and support the development of HR procedures, policies and initiatives and help enable managers to develop their staff and improve motivation and performance.

This opportunity offers an excellent salary and benefits package, with an early finish on Fridays.


The Role:


  • Report to the HR Manager and oversee 1 HR administrator
  • Support and coordinate HR policies and practices; review and update policies in line with legislation
  • Advise, support and coach managers in employee relations issues; discipline, grievance, dignity at work etc
  • Promote and proactively engage with the Company's vision, values and strategy
  • Promote effective work/life balance practices, arrange medicals, and welfare services for employees
  • Provide expert advice on HR issues
  • Manage, support and administer all recruitment activity
  • Prepare review and submit the equality commission report
  • Prepare HR stats and reports eg absence, exit data, performance data etc
  • Create and maintain up to date information for employee benefits
  • Monitor and manage sickness and absenteeism levels

The Person:


Essential:


  • 3rd level qualification, desirable
  • Associate CIPD level 3 or higher
  • Full, current driving license
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a busy HR team, in a similar role
  • Experience of advising and supporting managers with employee relations issues
  • Accurate data input
  • Production of reports and statistics
  • Experience supporting recruitment and selection processes
  • Working knowledge of current UK employment law and HR practices
  • Team work skills
  • Drive and enthusiasm
