Description

THE COMPANY

THE Consultancy provides strategic, data-driven guidance to universities, governments and other institutions with an interest in higher education around the world.

Building on our vast sector expertise and long history, we support our partners to build effective and sustainable strategies aligned to their unique mission.

Understanding that all organisations are unique, we combine proprietary and primary data ‒ including data underpinning THE's suite of rankings, bibliometric data, and bespoke surveys and other data collection ‒ to design customised solutions to clients' needs.

About the Role

Working closely with other members of the consultancy team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the consultancy team's work.

This would include, but not be limited to, conducting quantitative data analysis, and drawing insights from data to tell a story; creating visual outputs (both reports and PowerPoints slides); helping to design, conduct and analyse quantitative and qualitative research that we conduct with students, academics, corporates, or government bodies.

There would be room for progression in the role, with opportunities in time to become more client facing if you would wish to.

Prior experience in research (e.g. as a research executive or research assistant) would be desirable, but not essential.

The main thing is being a dependable team player, having a strong desire to learn about topics related to higher education, and to be inquisitive about data and have an eye for detail and data visualisation.
