FIXED TERM (2 YEARS) CONTRACT WITHIN THE NHS

BAND 6, SENIOR CLINICAL RESEARCH NURSE, FULL OR PART TIME CONSIDERED

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of our CRN East Midlands flexible workforce, the Direct Delivery Team.

We are seeking to appoint a Band 6 Senior Clinical Research Nurse (dependent on experience, knowledge and skills), to be part of a small team of research staff in our Derbyshire Hub.

The successful applicant will have current clinical research experience, who is keen to gain more experience in supporting the conduct of research across differing specialties and settings, supporting commercial and non commercial research.

The post holder will be based at our office in Babington Hospital in Belper, however extensive travelling across the county will be expected, and some travel across the East Midlands will be required.

Traditionally, the majority of healthcare research has been conducted in secondary care settings, however, the research landscape is changing and this post will be vital in supporting the LCRN in adapting to this change.

The post holder will join us at a very exciting time for the CRN East Midlands, through the Transformation of Research Delivery programme, it intends to develop its ability to respond to public health requirements and be best placed to respond to the changing research landscape.
