Would you like the opportunity to join an emerging Global Mobility function within a FTSE 100 business?


Due to exciting growth plans, and an increase demand from within the business, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a Global Mobility Advisor to join the Global Mobility Function on a fixed term contract.


In this exciting role you'll act as the single point of coordination for international assignees, (before, during and after assignments), ensuring employees receive an efficient, compliant, customer centric and cost-effective service.

You'll also work closely with the Global Mobility Manager on a variety of tasks that also include Internal Benefits Administration.

This role is full of variety.

You could be working on immigration one minute, finding a property next, spending time on excel with cost projections, or having calls with our Tax Team.

No day will be the same and there is a lot of opportunity for you to take ownership of your work and look at ways that processes can be improved.


The is an excellent opportunity for someone that has experience in mobility or an excellent knowledge of immigration policies, is passionate about this area, and is looking to gain experience working in a growing team within a large organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Act as single point of coordination for international assignees, end to end coordination of assignments, including the monitoring of all in
- and outsourced services and activities.

  • Ensure that all international assignment and permanent transfer requests include the appropriate business case and required data.
  • Assignment cost projections and production of template documents (assignment letters, reference letters etc), holding pre assignment briefings.
  • Support monthly payroll activities
  • Day to day management of multiple suppliers (Tax, immigration, relocation, expat data). Ensuring quality delivery of services, timely resolution of issues. Completion of invoice reconciliation / internal cost recharge processes
  • Support annual mobility processes such as assignment allowance review, assignment data collation
  • Tier 1 guidance (to employees and HR) on international benefits (excluding UK and US), including engagement with benefit providers and external advisors to secure correct technical advice as needed
  • International Benefit administration, including invoicing and renewal processes.
What we're looking for

  • To be successful in this role you'll need to be a proactive problem solver, that's data driven and enjoys working across a variety of administration tasks. You'll be working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers so you'll benefit from being customer focused with good communication skills, and a good empathetic understanding for the sensitivities and challenges that staff relocating may face.

Here's some of the key experience and skills that we'd love to see:


  • You have relevant experience of working within a global mobility function, ideally covering North American, European, and Asia Pacific inbound and outbound international assignees (Expats) and crosscountry transfers (International Moves)
  • Having experience with working with external vendors and managing delivery of services (including professional tax support services, household goods shipment, destination services, international medical insurance, and immigration services) would be highly advantageous.
  • You'll need a good understanding of Immigration processes particularly US and UK inbound
  • You have a process improvement mindset and previous success proposing improvements / evolutions of current way of doing thing
  • You'll be experienced in using Excel and comfortable with tasks at an intermediate level.
