Page 1 Recruitment are excited to be working in Partnership with a growing Tech company that is redefining the Transport and Energy Market in Africa.

Due to increased demand for their services and products our client is currently on the lookout for an EmbeddedSoftware Engineer to join their team.


Working from their Head office in Sheffield you will be joining an impressive Design and Engineering team on various projects to deliver renewable, battery and emobility products.

As a business, our client is looking to radically redefine the transport andenergy market in Africa.


Key skills include

  • STM3
  • Battery backed RTCs
  • I2C/SPI/CAN/RS485/TTL, Modbus, Ethernet and whatever protocols our work inevitably throws up
  • Some experience with Assembly useful
  • Optoisolated communications
  • Use of logic analysers, scopes etc. to debug communications or firmware issues
  • Ability to debug using breakpoints in IDEs
  • Version control using Git/Github
  • Some understanding of PCB design/layout for debugging PCBs
  • Custom bootloaders
