- Our children's services team is leading the way with exciting developments to further improve the lives of children and families in Blackpool. As a result, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for x6 experienced Family Workers to join us in delivering Early Help services across the town.
- These new roles will work in a whole family way, utilising our Blackpool Early Help Assessment to understand what life is like for children and will coproduce plans with families, schools and other partners to improve outcomes.
- Creative direct work with children, young people and their families will also form an essential part of this role including the delivery of evidence based 1:1 interventions and group based delivery.
- Family Workers work closely with our Family Hubs delivering all age targeted services to children and their families and working alongside partners in a locality to build a strong system of Early Help.
- We are looking for family workers who are experts in engaging families and other agencies; experience of holding a case load of families and in delivering evidencebased programmes is vital.
- This is a unique opportunity to join a supportive team who are passionate about Early Help and committed to ensuring improved outcomes for children and their families.
- A background in supporting families, including experience in assessment and direct work with a proven ability to work creatively with families
- Excellent communication skills and a tenacious approach to working alongside partner agencies.
