The Respiratory Department has a vacancy for a substantive part time Receptionists / Bookings Administrators based at Watford General Hospital.
The following hours available :
7.5 hours a week every Friday.
Experienced and committed, you will provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative service to the Consultants and multi-disciplinary team.
The post covers bookings and co-ordination of Respiratory Endoscopy procedures and manning the reception for lung function and Outpatient Respiratory clinics held at Watford General Hospital & Hemel Hempstead General Hospital.
The successful applicant will need to have a good general level of education, and possess the essential qualifications outlined in the attached Person Specification.
The post holder will be expected to have a flexible attitude in covering annual leave of their immediate colleagues. The role also includes the monitoring of referrals for Respiratory procedures and Lung function led activity.

To deal with telephone enquiries from GPs, patients, and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner to ensure that appropriate messages are passed onto the relevant people in a timely fashion.
To ensure and maintain the efficient and effective administration for Lung endoscopic procedures and Lung function and outpatient clinics held in the Respiratory department at Watford General Hospital, cancelling and amending clinic lists following instruction from the clinicians, Lung Physiologist and ADM.
