The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to come and work with us as part of our Retail Team, based at our Buxton Spring Gardens Lighthouse Charity shop.

We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Shop Supervisor, working 7.5 hours 9am to 5pm, regular Saturdays.

Working closely with the Shop Manager you would play a key role in leading the team in maximising sales and ensuring the highest level of customer service is consistently delivered

Daily tasks may include:
- motivate and manage volunteers
- stock sorting and rotation
- displaying goods effectively, including creative window displays and maintaining the shop's appearance
- sort and prepare unsaleable items for recycling or waste

We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, and has excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills. Previous supervisory experience in retail and / or customer service environment is required with good problem-solving ability. Are you ready for the ever-changing challenge that is charity retailing?
