AK Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a reputable school in Benton, Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting primary aged learners with SEND in their educational and personal development.
Collaborating with teachers and specialists to implement tailored learning plans.
Assisting in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Providing oneonone or small group support as needed.
Monitoring progress and reporting back to the teaching team.

Requirements:

Comfortable working with a range of ages, as required by the school.
Previous experience in an SEND setting is highly advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students with additional needs.
