The main purpose of the Case Worker role is to provide a case management and file building function in relation to the issue of Shotgun, Firearm, Explosives Acquire and Keep, and Explosives Acquire Only certificates, and their associated maintenance, in accordance with relevant Legislation, Home Office Guidelines and Force Policy whilst also providing a high quality, timely service whilst maintaining the safety of shotgun/firearm/explosives certificate holders, police officers and the public.
