Compliance Manager

Brentwood, Essex (Hybrid)

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm


My client, a growing organisation in Brentwood, is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to progress their career in compliance.


Duties:


  • Creation and implementation of systems, processes, and controls across the compliance team.
  • Assist in writing and communicating policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the correct processes and procedures are being followed within the compliance team within the agreed SLA timeframes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant GDPR regulations within the compliance team.
  • Manage and incentivise the team, hold regular 121s and monitor individual performance.
  • Handle and resolve any escalations or general compliance queries.
  • Manage annual leave within the team and ensure cover is always provided.
  • Ensure all processes and practices adhere to legislative guidance
  • Ensure the business is prepared for and would pass an audit at any time.
  • Keep up to date with righttowork and visa and immigration legislation and inform and implement any changes to the business.
  • Support with the development of reports and extract and analyse data
  • Ensure the compliance trackers are kept uptodate and accurate.

Skills and experience required:


  • Experience of working in recruitment or HR compliance, responsible for the post offer process and the preemployment checking process in a highvolume role.
  • Experience in carrying out enhanced DBS checks and reference checks.
  • Experience of managing and developing teams.
  • Ability to analyse data and able to articulate and present it clearly.
  • Strong management and leadership skills with a positive and motivational style
