Eden Brown Built Environment are delighted to once again be the recruitment partner for River Clyde Homes (RCH) for the Head of Property Services position.

Formed in 2007, RCH is an affordable housing provider that owns and manages over 6,000 homes and provides factoring services to a further 2,200 customers in the Inverclyde area.


Progress at RCH has been evident, this underlined by the recent creation of the RCH Group which comprises River Clyde Homes and Home Fix Scotland, a repairs and maintenance company.

This has enabled RCH to bring much of the work in-house, conducted by a specialist team. The RCH Group now employs over 300 members of staff, including specialist trade operatives.


RCH aim to put their customers at the heart of everything they do and have structures in place to ensure that they have real influence.

They also provide more than simple landlord services because they care about the people and the places where they work.


The pivotal role of Head of Property Services will make a significant contribution to the growth and development of RCH.

You will be responsible for the asset management strategy and plan, client-side budgetary control and the relationship between RCH, the Scottish Government, its subsidiaries, and the council on all matters relating to property and associated assets


As a member of the Senior Management team, you will be accountable for all asset management factoring services functions, compliance matters and developments; you will ensure value is obtained from all suppliers, including the subsidiary organisations, from which it obtains services.


The post holder will manage key relationships at a strategic level and on matters relating to asset management functions, including new build development, compliance, strategy development and implementation, programme & business plan development; the role will require considerable budgetary management experience, and an understanding in public funding, including negotiation and compliance.


They will also have broad 'place making' knowledge and experience in community engagement, including taking the lead on transforming communities, and will demonstrate a leadership style that puts the customer first.


The post holder will also lead on the identification of new commercial opportunities including the production of a business case, business plans and legal framework necessary to the RCH Group and the Group Board.
