Description

We have an exciting, flexible role available in our Translation team at
ICS-translate.

As a
Translation Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality
Italian translations across a variety of exciting markets and industries.

The tasks involved will range in type, scale and frequency, but you will primarily support with translating, proofreading and editing content from
English into
Italian.

The role:

Casual role between 10 and 20 hours per week (depending on business need)
Salary: £10.50/hour
Translation, proofreading and editing (EN>IT)
Regular quality assurance checks of the freelance Italian pool
Assessing source texts and flagging any potential issues
Providing constructive and professional feedback to other translators
Giving advice and consultation on target language/culture

About you:

Nativelevel Italian speaker with an advanced knowledge of English
Qualified by meeting at least one of the following criteria:
holding a recognised graduate qualification in translation, linguistics or language studies from an institution of higher education;

- holding a recognised graduate qualification in any other field from an institution of higher education plus two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
- five years of full-time professional experience in translating
