A very good client of mine who put the fun factor into the worklplace are on the look out for a Customer Service Advisor.

Monday through to Friday: 08:00am to 17:30pm (30 minute lunch break)


Responsibilities:


  • Welcoming customers when they arrive on site and deal with their queries.
  • Develop and maintain positive and supportive relationships with customers throughout the duration of their engagement.
  • Liaising with relevant members of staff at our different branches to obtain correct and up to date information to support our customers.
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary and maintain a consistent point of contact for customer queries and concerns.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues.
  • Log comments, compliments and complaints in accordance with company procedure.
  • Work in a flexible manner and undertake any other duties and responsibilities within the scope of the position.

Person Specification:


  • At least 3 years' experience in a busy customer service environment that involves taking/making calls.
  • An outstanding and demonstrable communication skills, both oral and written communication with an exceptional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to multitask with keen problemsolving skills and attitude.
  • A positive, cando attitude, able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements and customer needs.
  • Confident and demonstrable IT skills.
  • Accurate dataentry experience.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations with a sympathetic understanding that our customers find themselves in a distressing situation.
  • Responsive, prompt and supportive to the wider team and colleagues.
  • Outgoing attitude and keen to integrate themselves into the branch team.
