The post-holder for this role will support our flagship brands:

  • CATS Cambridge, an international boarding school based in Cambridge
  • Bosworth Independent College, a small tutorial college, today Bosworth is a leading independent boarding college in the UK.
  • Guildhouse School, London, an international boarding school based in London
  • Stafford House, a group of international English language schools based in the UK
  • The Worthgate School, an international boarding school based in Canterbury
  • Support for our group brand, CGS may also be needed.
The post-holder for this role will report to the Content Specialist. The post-holder for this role will ideally be based in or around Cambridge. Other locations may also be considered. We are currently asking all staff to come into office twice a week.

Role overview

The post-holder for this role will be a key member of the Content and Design Team, responsible for supporting the Content Specialist to create engaging and innovative content to demonstrate and better explain the USPs of each school.


The post-holder for this role will take direction from our Content Specialist to support the running of engaging content-first campaigns to articulate the USPs and nuances of our offering to our audiences.

The post-holder will need to build positive relationships with students and teachers within our schools to get buy-in and participation in our activity.

Stakeholder Management- Collaborate with members of the marketing and communication teams to create content specific to business needs

  • Build positive relationships with school Principals, teachers and students to gather content needed for campaigns
  • Take direction and support ideation for marketing priorities from Content Specialist and Creative Lead
  • Input into ideation sessions during campaign and content conception.
Content Management- Create of engaging content, from blog posts, social media content, videos, student testimonials, etc.

  • Support ad hoc content requests from the sales team and the schools
  • Support the storage of photography and video
  • Share planned and published content with our sales team and internal stakeholders.
Content Creation

  • This role is handson in its approach and as such requires the Content Executive to be involved in content creation process

Responsibilities may include:

  • Planning and create engaging social media content
  • Writing informative and engaging blog posts and student testimonials
  • Building campaign landing pages
  • Supporing video content for student testimonials, animations, etc
  • Reediting content for social media platforms
  • Supporting photography for events and social media content
  • Sharing planned and published content with our sales team and internal stakeholders
  • Organising webinars
  • Proofreading web and print material
  • Updating school websites content and copy.
You may also be asked to undertake responsibilities that are not covered in this description.

  • Person Specification
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the use of appropriate language, correct grammar and spelling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to produce engaging content
  • Experience in filming and photographing highquality content for social media on their phone
  • Editing experience would be desirable. Training can be provided.
Person Behaviours- Creativity - The person for this role needs to have enthusiasm and the ability to think outside of the box They will need to be able to work with students and teachers to help showcase their work and activities on our platforms

  • The postholder for this role will have to collaborate with multiple members inside the Marketing Team.

  • The ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will have to present new programmes and write engaging copy to tell the school's 'story' for various marketing channels.
