Description
EUC Windows and SCCM Technical Support Engineer required to work with a central government department. This is an initial 3-month contact, paying £400 per day, outside of IR35, hybrid working (2-3 days per week onsite in London)
About the Role
The role will be heavily involved in the department's plan to move from Microsoft SCCM to UEM/MDM with the potential of Windows 11 in the second half of 2023.
Required Skills and Experience:
- SCCM Administration and configuration
- Ensuring the SCCM environment is maintained and optimised for performance
- Practical experience with UEM/MDM migration methods from SCCM and configuration of environment
- Deploying estate wide critical fixes and solutions
- Designing and maintaining new Windows 10 builds and task sequences
- Windows 10 and Application security patching and updates
- Windows 10 Feature release cycle and implementation
- Reporting on compliance/software usage and creation of bespoke queries
- Vulnerability patching and compliance
- Basic understand and usage of Microsoft Security suite
- Group Policy design, implementation, and maintenance
- Escalation point for any 3rd/4th line technical questions, queries and issues
- PowerShell scripting for automation tasks/advanced queries
- Any experience of supporting MacOS would be a bonus.
