My client, based in Truro are looking for an admin assistant to join the team on a fixed term contract.

Dealing with a broad range of responsibilities you must be proactive and organised.

This position will be 32 hours a week with flexibility on how these are worked.


Main duties and responsibilities:

Deal with incoming calls and transferring as necessary.

Dealing with incoming holiday requests from staff, updating relevant calendars and spreadsheets with the information


Following on from staff holiday requests you need to ensure that the site has relevant cover should it be needed.

This will be by contacting our current recruitment agencies to around cover


Ensuring the training matrix is up to date and all staff have the relevant and necessary qualifications required for their job role.

Raising of purchase orders to provide suppliers and keeping a log of these.

Ensuring the stationary in the office is adequate and placing orders if not.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • Strong administration experience


  • Desirable

  • Experience within the construction industry

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 32 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
