Are you a Health & Safety expert looking for 2-3 days work per week working for a thriving and expanding, family-run business in the Northallerton area? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Our client is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. They envisage a requirement of 2-3 days per week which can be discussed with the client.

As Health & Safety Advisor you would be responsible for providing support and guidance across the business. You will carry out risk assessments, accident investigations, analysing results and the root cause.

To be successful you will hold NEBOSH general as a minimum, ideally working towards NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. You will have thorough knowledge of HSE legislation. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be desirable.

The NEBOSH General Certificate is the most widely recognised health and safety qualification of its kind, providing line managers and staff with a sound understanding of the principles of risk management **.

This role will be based near Northallerton covering 3 sites but will also include site visits to other parts of the UK.

You must, therefore, hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible to travel when needed.

Salary negotiable depending on experience
