We are looking for an experienced Legal Advisor to join our rapidly expanding team in Edinburgh.
You will have responsibility for all corporate, commercial and investment legal documentation.

You will advise internally on legal matters, carrying out relevant legal research and making appropriate Companies House filings.

As a Legal Advisor at Enoda, you'll spend your time

  • Drafting highlevel accurate legal documentation
  • Serving as the first point of contact for all legal queries
  • Working closely with global external legal support
  • Actively managing legal documents, diarising key dates, and keeping company records in order
  • Preparing and collating company secretarial documents, including coordinating signatures and relevant approvals as required
  • Managing the shareholder's database and making timely Companies House filings
  • Assisting the Management team in developing legal processes to streamline and make legal support more accessible and responsive
  • Working with the Finance team to ensure purchase orders are raised and invoices for external legal advisors are processed promptly
  • Working with the business to ensure new legal supplier agreements are entered appropriately
  • Overseeing the Non-Disclosure Agreement process, including reviewing amendments
  • Researching and reporting on current and new legislation and guidance
  • Working with the business to deliver its core purpose and cultural values

The key experience we're looking for

  • Team player with collaborative work experience and strong influencing skills. Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Be very well organised with a careful and accurate approach
  • Ability to communicate complex legal issues and risks to nonlegally qualified colleagues effectively
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, prioritising multiple tasks. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Practical problemsolving approach and creative thinking. Willingness to learn, take on challenges and be flexible
  • Project management skills to drive Group Legal initiatives
  • Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency in Word and Outlook, with experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe
  • Law degree or legal professional qualification
Previous experience working in an in-house legal function or law firm is desirable.
