Location:
London Bridge Hospital - 1 London Bridge


Contract:
Full time 7.5 hr shifts. working hrs are 6am till 1800pm with occasional Saturdays


Salary:
£25,000

About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity to join HCA UK, as our Inpatient Patient Access Officer to provide a comprehensive range of patient administrative and coordination services within our private patient-exclusive facility.

You will be part of an experienced team offering lots of support to focus on the patient journey.

  • Motivate enhance your administration duties with the admissions
  • To support staff to encourage new starters professional development
  • Flexible in attitude and behaviour to support the team at all times
  • To deal with all registration queries with integrity and compliance
  • Show attention to detail when dealing with patients & thirdparty holders
  • Ensure that departmental objectives are always met
  • To perform professionally & ensure all admission duties are meet to organisational needs
  • Maintain standards to ensure positive patient experience
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on admission protocols
  • Ensure accurate data collection to meet departmental targets
  • To actively learn all processes and procedures within the team to ensure that they always meet the needs of the business
  • Identify to raise weaknesses in current processes that may affect the patient experience
  • Ensure that your department objectives are always met
  • Maintain relationships with other departments to promote successful collaborative working processes
  • To adhere to all administrative duties with Admissions & Pre-Admission department as necessary
  • To ensure 100% authorisation or Self pay collection is in place before patient is admitted to the ward.
  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in private healthcare, or healthcare patient bookings or admissions.
  • Exceptional IT skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask, coordinate multiple priorities, meet deadlines and act on instruction quickly to support patients and consultants.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
