Description

You will support the work of the Radiology Department to assist Radiologists and Radiographers in performing a range of Radiological procedures, including Ultrasound and CT.


We have a new state of the art Emergency Department which opened in April 2019 with dedicated DR X Ray rooms, Ultrasound and a CT scanner.

The successful applicant will be expected to rotate into this area from the main X-Ray department, US and CT

  • To assist in all aspects of patient care with in the Radiology department.
  • To assist with housekeeping duties i.e. cleaning specialist equipment.
  • To make up slides of biopsy samples for microscopic examination by Histology / Pathology.
  • To work crosssite between Wexham Park hospital in Slough, Heatherwood Hospital Ascot, King Edwards VII in Windsor and St Marks in Maidenhead as and when required.

  • To assists patients with undressing and preparation for Radiological examinations.
  • To act as a chaperone for patients as required.
  • To clean radiological equipment as per departmental procedures.
  • To assist patients and staff with the specific tests and examinations carried out in the Radiology department.
